A Message from Principal Karen Caldwell

I am a lifetime learner, educator and mom who is passionate about supporting the community.  I have been in education twenty-seven years.  As an educator, I have worked at all grade levels and with all content areas.  I worked as a special educator as well as a general classroom teacher prior to becoming an administrator.  I served as a principal at Sunset Elementary for thirteen years and am excited to begin a new adventure as Bethesda’s principal.

Bethesda is a wonderfully beautiful community.  The parents, students, staff and community members are outstanding and extremely supportive of the school.  Bethesda is committed to supporting students’ growth both academically and in character.  We are committed to always putting children first and believe in partnering with families to reach our goals.  We welcome and seek your support and involvement in your child’s education.
